Raistlin Van Spronsen Photography exists to capture the moments that matter most to you—right here in our community and wherever life takes you. From graduations and family portraits to community events, sports, and travel, I focus on real stories, real emotion, and images you’ll still love years from now.

Explore the services below to see how we can work together to capture your next milestone, project, or adventure

Portraits

Portraits that actually feel like you. I work with families, friend groups, business professionals, and election candidates to create images that feel natural, confident, and true to who you are.

Whether you need a new headshot, campaign imagery, or updated photos with the people you love, I’ll help with posing, location, and all the little details so you can just relax and enjoy the session

Graduation

Graduation is more than a ceremony—it’s the end of one chapter and the launch of the next. I photograph grads from middle school, high school, and college/university, capturing everything from proud family hugs to those ‘we actually did it’ moments with your friends.

Whether you want classic cap-and-gown portraits, hype group photos, or coverage of the full event, I’m there to make sure this milestone feels as big in your photos as it does in real life

Sports

Sports are where my photography really started to level up. I’ve spent years on the rink boards and in arenas capturing speed skating, tournaments, and high‑energy competition, learning how to anticipate the action instead of just reacting to it.

I focus on telling the full story of a game or meet—from warm‑up nerves and team huddles to peak action and celebration—so athletes, families, and organizers have images that feel as intense and meaningful as the day itself

Events

Parades, festivals, shows, tournaments, community nights—if people are gathering, I want to be there with a camera. I cover events with a mix of wide ‘this is what it felt like to be there’ shots and close-up moments you might’ve missed in the rush.

My calendar is always open to new events, from small local gatherings to major tournaments and ceremonies, so if you’re planning something big for your community, let’s talk about how to capture it properly.

Travel

Travel is where photography first grabbed my attention. That little point‑and‑shoot I was given for family trips turned into a way of noticing new cities, airports, beaches, and all the in‑between moments most people walk past.

Whether it’s a once‑in‑a‑lifetime vacation, a simple road trip, a roadside diner on the Alaska Highway, or a landmark halfway across the world, I love capturing the mix of landscapes, landmarks, candid laughs, and ‘this is our life right now’ memories that you’ll want to look back on years from now.
